In addition, Anita is a proven motivational speaker, corporate communications specialist, academic consultant, and lyric soprano soloist. Also an ordained minister, Anita is the director of Mercy Residence Ministry, a merciful outreach.

Anita works as both an independent communications specialist and as a writer, editor, teacher, and speaker hired by diverse clients. Anita's professional experience includes multimedia talent work, photography, and graphic illustration. She writes feature articles, curriculum, books, plays, songs, and scripts. Raised in a college town, Anita always has loved learning, writing, and using communication to build bridges. A National Merit Scholar, Anita has an MA in Education - Instructional Design Technology from the University of Iowa, where she researched the impact of media on children. Anita has a BS in Communications - Speech/Mass Media/TV with a Biology/Spanish double minor from Iowa State University. She completed an honors internship at WOI-TV. She has a Bible Diploma from Living Word Bible Institute, a ministry ordination from Sarah Family Ministries Training Center, and Business Strategy and Insurance Agent qualifications from ProSource, which she obtained to excel as a corporate communications specialist. Anita also is a trained lyric soprano and gymnast. With her versatile background, Anita understands many topics. She favors writing about profiles in outstanding achievement, innovative business, news, faith, family, science, wellness, education, animals, and fine arts.
Prior to Wordspin, Anita was the young senior communications specialist for a top insurance and financial services company. Freelancing has given Anita flexibility for family and outreach. As a volunteer, she directs a mercy ministry. As an independent contractor, Anita also has taught classes ranging from math, writing, and illustrating books to history, theatre, and design.
